Three Thoughts for Leaders

Be the first. Leading scientists are unlike other leaders, says biologist E.O. Wilson. Their minds wander. They are not voted most likely to succeed. But at core, they're leaders: "They prefer to take first steps alone. They seek an important phenomenon previously overlooked. An opportunity to be the first is their smell of blood."

National Disability Employment Awareness Month

In October we celebrated National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), a campaign that celebrates the contributions of workers with disabilities in the United States. This article is aimed at raising awareness of what has transpired in 2013, from Hollywood to Washington DC, that affects people with disabilities and their allies who seek to build a more inclusive workplace.
