Ms. Burris is responsible developing and implementing all diversity initiatives and programs at BB&T. She also takes a visible and strategic leadership role representing BB&T both internally and externally to establish connectivity with other groups or efforts focused on diversity and inclusion.
Prior to joining BB&T, Ms. Burris worked as a Diversity and Inclusion Program Manager for 8 years in various lines of businesses within Bank of America managing D&I efforts from a global perspective.
Yulonda Burris is an avid runner, volunteer and proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
Ms. Burris currently resides between Charlotte, NC with her daughters Kennedy and Kiera.
