Diversity Unleashed™ Development Series & Boot Camp

Diversity Unleashed means working together and being inclusive on purpose.

Diversity & Inclusion Training

Workshops about ways to optimize diversity (inclusion) are perhaps some of the most important workshops anyone will ever participate in. For years diversity has been considered a government compliance obligation.

Over the course of a 4 hour in-person session, participants actively engage in diversity of thought and learn how to step outside of their mental box to explore diversity as a natural strength of the organization.

Why Diversity Unleashed™?

The Diversity Unleashed Development Series was designed to provide a basic understanding of diversity as we understand it today, and to introduce a broader definition that will enable leaders to better maximize the talents of all individuals to achieve organizational excellence and business results.

  • Diversity Unleashed™ informs, educates, and inspires shared learning;
  • Diversity Unleashed™ helps the team managing the day-to-day diversity or ERG Network initiatives, outline implementation issues, increase awareness, avoid pitfalls, structure and transform the diversity effort for success;
  • Diversity Unleashed™ connects the diversity dots, builds skill, and ignites the possibilities including steps along the journey to transform ourselves, the organization, and communities where we live and serve.
  • As an added bonus, the National Diversity Council will also introduce tested best practice diversity benchmarks and tools applicable around the globe.

Benefits to Participants

  • Participants will gain clarity and be inspired to communicate the organization’s vision and diversity strategy.
  • Participants will be able to explain to others how managing diversity is different from the traditional practice of equal opportunity and affirmative action compliance.
  • Participants learn how to move the needle beyond compliance and activity, to excellence and inclusion.
  • Participants learn the role of change agent and how to develop “buy-in” and commitment to the diversity initiative by understanding the diversity link to stakeholder engagement, satisfaction, loyalty, and key organizational business drivers.
  • Participants learn how to use diversity implementation strategies, self- assessments, and process tools to recognize bias, communicate across differences, and deploy an effective diversity change management strategy.

Workshop Format

All sessions are interactive and include experiential learning and the dynamics of one or more diversity topics including both large and small group discussions, case studies, exercises, and informal assessments to identify implication for feedback and problem solving strategies.

Who Should Attend

Diversity Unleashed Workshops are inclusive learning communities designed to benefit and provide tools for personal growth and leadership for individuals of all backgrounds and experience levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced.
