The Inaugural Triangle Generational Diversity Summit is a new event for the National Diversity Council for our brand new Triangle Area chapter. The summit is a half-day training and facilitated discussion on generational difference in the workplace, with an emphasis on communication and leadership. We will begin with an overview video presentation and discussion of the four generations in the workforce. For the majority of the event, we bring together four to six local leaders who hold executive positions in their organizations. Each will speak to a communication and/or leadership topic directly related to generational diversity. The audience will also have the opportunity to raise topics, ask questions, and join the conversation through facilitated group discussions. By attending, participants will gain a greater appreciation for the value of generational differences as well as best practices for productive working relationships and professional advancement in today’s diverse workplace environment.’
