2013 Wilmington Women in Leadership Symposium

A Women in Leadership Symposium (WILS) brings together a diverse mix of successful women leaders who, through the discussion of topics relevant to today’s issues will educate, inspire, and encourage women to reflect on their own goals and status as they strive to advance within their organizations. A WILS is motivational, but the key purpose is to provide useful advice, knowledge, and strategies to empower our participants long after the motivation has dissipated.

This WILS will also highlight a recent, currently unpublished study created by the NSF-ADVANCE fund detailing findings on the state of women in STEM disciplines within the NC Community College System. We’re also feature panelists with a background in healthcare, so this year’s WILS will have dual focus on women’s advancement academic as well as healthcare settings. We hope you’ll join us!
